Since 2022 eco-ex has been offering users a unique technological experience. We’ve listed our most frequently asked questions below. However, if you still have something on your mind, do not hesitate to get in touch.

1- How does it work?

2- What goes into our enviromental impact rating score?

We are hoping to partner with Foundation Earth which will support and enrich our platform and community. Foundation Earth’s eco-impact score is a clear and credible system, which helps to test the environmental carbon footprint and impact of food products.

Their scoring system includes carbon impact, water usage, water pollution, and biodiversity, this score will be determined by the supplier.

A score will be generated from A+ to G, which will be shown next to each product in your basket.

3- How does the point system work? And what are the rewards?

When you shop with eco-ex you automatically earn eco points. These eco points correlate to monetary rewards, the higher number of eco-points you earn the more eco- rewards you will receive!

You have control over how to spend your eco-points, you can choose to keep your reward and spend it at one of our partner stores, spend it on one charity or split your spending points over multiple charities.

At the end of each shop, overall colour and points will be assigned to your online food shop. This score will be linked to your account and be placed on a leaderboard against other users and connected friends. You can support friends and track your progress of your environment sustainable buying practices.
